2. She Celebrated Her 50th Birthday in a Big Way
In 2020, Niecy did something few women her age do; she celebrated her 50th birthday with a sizzling partially nude photoshoot. Niecy hopes that her photoshoot will inspire other women to feel good about themselves.

3. Niecy Gave Birth to Three Actors
Niecy shares three children with her former husband, Don Nash. Her children all have names that start with the letter D: son Dominic and daughters Donielle and Dia.

4. She Lost Her Brother in a School Shooting
Niecy lost her younger brother, Michael, in a school shooting in 1993. Shortly after her brother’s death, Niecy’s mother founded M.A.V.I.S. (Mothers Against Violence In Schools). Niecy helped run M.A.V.I.S. up until her mother decided to shut down the organization.
5. Niecy Works With Many Organizations
Niecy has worked with many notable organizations in the past, including Dress for Success and the American Cancer Society. Most recently, Niecy has been helping her friend and fellow actor Wendy Raquel Robinson with Amazing Grace Conservatory. Amazing Grace is an inner-city performing arts program, of which Robinson is the program director.
