Homecoming Hairstyles Find Yours Here
One of the biggest trends we’re seeing for homecoming, prom, weddings, and other formal occasions, is the pinned-back hairstyle. Pinned-back hair is a nice alternative to a dressed-down ponytail and a more dressed up version of simply wearing your hair down.
Homecoming Hairstyles are on the fashion front and you need to move right now for cosmetology colleges and high school girls everywhere. You want to look unique and you need to be beautiful so don’t be afraid to try something different but make sure it complements your face. A big poofy style is not cool on a little face and going with a color like purple or pink may be a bit much if you are not into an emo kind of look. My favorite place for a new style is to look at celebrities then bring the pic to a good stylist. They can usually make it close and are also good for advising if it fits your face.
In this gallery, I feature some of the best pinned-back hairstyles worn on celebrities on red carpets. For these looks, you’ll need somebody in your hair.
Curls and waves look great, you can even add in extensions for full “oomph.” Pin hair back with hidden bobby pins, or dress up your look with a jeweled barrette or antique brooch turned into a barrette (one of my favorite looks).

I’m Iskra Banović, editor of Blufashion and the voice behind its fashion, beauty, and lifestyle stories. Fashion, beauty, and lifestyle are my playground, but I’m just as likely to share the messy side of it all, like the time I tested a “must-have” skincare gadget and ended up with glitter stuck in my hair. I love turning trends and everyday finds into something useful (and fun) for real people.
